What is depression? Symptoms and how to prevent them

 

Depression   is a  condition of the state of mind that affects how a  person is, thinks and acts. No, it’s the same thing that occasionally feels sad: it’s a serious and persistent medical condition that can interfere with your daily life.

What is depression?

Depression is a condition where levels of neurotransmitters such as  serotonin ,  dopamine  and  noradrenalin  can become unbalanced. This affects the state of your heart, your heart, your appetite, your energy and your motivation.

You can vary depending on the person, but the most common ones are:

How to prevent or reduce risk?

  • Hormonal and chemical changes in the brain
  • Chronic effects, traumas or losses
  • Physical enclosures (like hipotiroidism)

  • Loss of interest or placement in activities prior to enjoyment
