Ingredients (for about 4 servings):
✅ 1 large head of broccoli
✅ 3–4 potatoes
✅ 1 carrot
✅ 1 onion
✅ 2 cloves of garlic
✅ 1 liter of vegetable or chicken stock
✅ 150 ml 30% cream
✅ 150–200 g cheddar cheese (grated)
✅ 2 tablespoons of butter
✅ 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
✅ salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste
Instructions:
1. Finely dice the onion and press the garlic through a garlic press. Coarsely grate the carrot. Sauté everything in butter in a large pot.
2. Add the flour, stir, and cook for another minute. Pour in the stock and add the diced potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes.
3️⃣ After this time, add the broccoli, broken into florets, and cook for about 7 more minutes, until everything is tender.
4️⃣ Pour in the cream, season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
5️⃣ Finally, add the grated cheddar cheese and stir until completely melted. Do not bring to a boil.
