Ingredients:
• 220 g sugar
• 420 g flour
• 3 eggs
• 220 ml milk
• 220 ml oil
• 1 packet of baking powder
For the quark filling:
• 350 g quark
• 1 egg
• Icing sugar as needed
Aside from that:
• Sweet cherries as desired
Preparation:
1️⃣ Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy.
2️⃣ Add milk and oil in portions and mix well.
3️⃣ Mix the flour with the baking powder and fold into the egg mixture.
4️⃣ Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and top with pitted cherries.
5️⃣ Mix the quark with an egg, sweeten to taste and place small mounds between the cherries.
6️⃣ Bake at 180°C for about 25 to 30 minutes until the cake is golden brown
