One month before a heart attack, your feet warn you of these 6 signs

3. Discoloration (blue, purple, or pale feet)
A bluish or purple hue may indicate poor oxygen supply.

Pale or flat feet may indicate improved circulation.

4. Numbness or tingling

Restricted circulation can lead to tingling or numbness.

This may worsen with increased activity and improve with rest—a possible sign of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), often associated with heart disease.

5. Wounds or non-healing wounds
Poor circulation can prevent the body from healing even minor cuts.

Chronic ulcers or slow-healing wounds on the feet are a warning sign, especially in diabetics.

6. Pain when walking (limping)
Pain or cramps in the feet or calves when walking may indicate PAD.

It is a reliable indicator of future cardiovascular events, including heart attacks.

❗ Important note:

These signs don’t always mean a heart attack is imminent, but they do indicate that your cardiovascular system may be compromised.

✅ What to do if you experience these symptoms:
– Seek immediate medical attention, especially if symptoms are new or worsening.

– Look out for other warning signs of a heart attack, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, or dizziness.

– Get checked for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and heart function.

2. Swelling (edema) of the feet and ankles

Swollen and puffy feet and ankles may be due to fluid retention caused by heart failure.

Often worse at the end of the day or after prolonged sitting
