French bread or rolls

French Bread or Rolls: Tradition and Flavor in Every Bite

French bread, also known as bolillos , is one of the most beloved and traditional breads on many tables. Its crispy crust and soft crumb make it the perfect accompaniment to any meal: from simple breakfasts with butter and jam to Mexican cakes and snacks. Making it at home is easier than it seems, and nothing compares to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread.

Ingredients:

500g of 000 or 0000 flour

5 grams of yeast

300 ml of water

5 grams of salt

Preparation:

Preparation:

1) Place the flour in a deep bowl.

2. Add the yeast

3. Away from the yeast, add the salt.

4. Gradually add warm water to mix.

5. Once all the water has been added, knead for 10 minutes.

6. Roll out the dough and fold it with the palms of your hands until it becomes elastic.

7. Form the dough into a ball and let it rest for an hour and a half (covered with cling film in a bowl).

8. Take a piece of dough, stretch it into a rectangle and roll it up into an elongated cylinder.

9. Bake the French bread at 200ºC for 20-30 minutes.
