The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar prevents the release of acid from the stomach. This way, food is digested more easily, without the occurrence of reflux, gas and flatulence, and the heartburn is also soothed.
“Apple cider vinegar restores the body wonderfully. It is taken undiluted, 30-40 ml, but a little honey is added. And not only because of the taste, but also because of the anti-inflammatory effects that honey has. The acid from apple cider vinegar restores our mucous membranes, it is food for them,” notes Dr. Voya and points out that these two foods are the best for the health of adults and children.
And whether it is better to peel the apple or eat it with the peel, the gastroenterologist says: “It is better to wash it for 15-20 minutes to remove the active chemicals from the peel than to peel it. 15 minutes is enough, wash and wipe,” the doctor concluded.
Homemade vinegar recipe
