As Dr. Jimmy Mohamed explained on RTL, a new study has drawn a parallel between screen use and nocturia.
High screen time makes you want to urinate more (5/12)
Result: people who have a high consumption of screens during the day increase by almost 50% the risk of having to urinate at night.

According to the study, this threshold would be crossed after 5 hours of time spent per day on screens, whether television, mobile phone or computer.

En quoi le temps d’écran peut avoir un impact sur le besoin de faire pipi la nuit ? C’est à cause de la lumière des écrans qui perturbent la production de mélatonine, hormone de la nuit permettant un bon endormissement.
